ஒரு எழுத்தாளனுக்கு வேறொரு சமகால எழுத்தாளரின் படைப்பைப் படிக்க வாய்ப்புக் கிடைக்கும்போது, அந்த வாசிப்பு பல தளத்திலும் நிகழும். முதலாவது, தன்னையறியாமல், இதை நான் எழுதியிருந்தால் எப்படி எழுதியிருப்பேன் என்ற சிந்தனை ஓட்டம் முதல் பக்கத்திலேயே தொடங்கி இருக்கும். அந்தப் படைப்புக்குள் தன் படைப்பை மனதில் எழுதிப் போகும்போது வாசக அனுபவம் பின்னணிக்குப் போய்விடலாம். இன்னொரு தளத்தில், அந்தப் படைப்பு பிரமிக்க வைத்தால் அதற்கு எளிமையான காரணம் கண்டுபிடித்து மனநிறைவு அடைய ஒரு மன ஓட்டம் கூடவே…
